Big Data Supply, Inc. ("Big Data Supply," "we" or "us") explains here how we collect, use and share personal information through bigdatasupply.com (the "Site"), our phone calls and our business dealings with you.
What We Collect
- Information you give us: name, company, title, email, phone, address, equipment details, and order and payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.
- Information from other sources: business contact information from public sources, business data providers and purchased lead lists.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and visit times, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
- Call information: phone numbers, call times and duration, rep notes and call recordings.
How We Use It
We use personal information to:
- respond to requests and prepare quotes;
- process orders, purchases, shipments and services;
- contact you about our products and services;
- run and improve the Site; and
- meet our legal and certification obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
Phone Calls
Our representatives may call people who contact us, do business with us, or are business contacts at organizations that may buy, sell or retire IT equipment.
- Calling platform: calls are made through Twilio, which processes call data and recordings for us as a service provider.
- Recording: calls are recorded for quality and training. We tell you at the start of the call, and we'll stop recording if you ask.
- Voicemail: prerecorded voicemails go to business office lines only, never to cell phones.
- Do Not Call: we honor the National Do Not Call Registry where it applies, and we keep our own Do Not Call list.
- Opting out: to stop calls, tell your representative, call (800) 905-7329, or email Support@BigDataSupply.com. We honor requests within 10 business days.
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with:
- service providers that help us run our business, such as calling, CRM, email, hosting, payments and shipping;
- authorities, when required by law; and
- a buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged.
Equipment You Send Us
Data on equipment you send us is handled under our certified data-destruction procedures. We do not use or share it.
Cookies
You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some Site features, such as the cart, may not work without them. The Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information and keep it only as long as needed for business and legal purposes. No system is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing Support@BigDataSupply.com.
- California residents may have additional rights under California law.
- EU and UK residents may also object to processing, request a copy of their data, or complain to their local data protection authority.
